The Yankees were shut down by an impressive pitching performance by Joshua Tomlin and on his Major League debut. Tomlin pitched 7 full innings, gave up 3 hits and 1 earned run. The game was scoreless until Cleveland scored two runs by way of an error by Yankee catcher Cervelli and a sacrifice fly by Choo. Cleveland scored two more runs in the bottom of the 6th to make it 4-0. The sole run for the Yanks came on a ground out by Curtis in the top of the eighth. Sabathia scattered 9 hits and pitched 7 full innings also. He takes the lost and is 13-4 for the season, not bad! Yanks lose, simple as that! Box Score and Highlights.
