Yankees remain hot and beat the Royals 10-4
Friday, July 23rd, 2010By Jose “Pepitone” Reyes
Besides the Yankee offense continuing to hit the ball off the cover, there was another obvious factor which contributed to their victory. CC Sabathia pitched a very affective game as he allowed whopping 11 hits but only 3 earned runs in 6.1 innings. Not so impressive but nevertheless he won his 13th game. Sabathia is now 13-4 with a 3.18 ERA, not bad at all! A-Rod also smacked number 599 career homer and also pushed in 4 runs. Teixeira went 3 for 5, Swisher was 2 for 5 with two RBI and Jeter gets an inside-the-parker. Everybody is hitting the ball. Yanks win! Box Score and Highlights.
